  • EITHER: A secondary diploma (high school / global equivalent) and 1.500 hours of professional experience on a project team.
  • OR: a secondary diploma and 23 contact hours of formal education.

Where can I purchase the exam?

The exam has to be purchased directly through PMI.

What happens after I pass the exam?

Your certificate will take 6-8 weeks to arrive. You can call yourself a certificate holder in the meantime.

Where is the exam?

All PMI exams, with the exception of the CAPM, are offered at approved Prometric Testing Centers worldwide. Check the PMI website for more information.

What happens if I fail the exam?

You can retake the exam two more times within your one-year eligibility.

What happens if my eligibility expires and I have not taken the exam?

Your application is valid for one year. After this time, you will have to re-apply.

What are PDUs?

PDUs (Professional Development Units) are the measuring unit used to quantify your professional development as part of the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program. 1 PDU = 1 hour of learning/activity.
