About The Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)® Training Course

This course is a response to the increasing demand of specialized expertise managing complex projects. The PMI-RMP® is a globally recognized certification that prepares students to successfully lead and direct risk management activities within projects. Teaches students to apply risk management processes, tools and techniques and practices to daily life, work and most importantly when managing projects.   • EDUCATION:
  • Four-year bachelors or global equivalent degree
  • PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT EDUCATION:
  • 30 hours of formal education in the specialised area of project risk management
  • PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 3,000 hours spent in the professional project risk management
  • OVERALL EXPERIENCE:
  • Five consecutive years
  • OR
  • EDUCATION:
  • Secondary high school or global equivalent diploma
  • PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT EDUCATION:
  • 40 hours of formal education in the specialised area of project risk management
  • PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 4,500 hours spent in the professional project risk management
  • OVERALL EXPERIENCE:
  • Five consecutive years

Where can I purchase the exam?

The exam has to be purchased directly through PMI.

What happens after I pass the exam?

Your certificate will take 6-8 weeks to arrive. You can call yourself a certificate holder in the meantime.

Where is the exam?

All PMI exams, with the exception of the CAPM, are offered at approved Prometric Testing Centers worldwide. Check the PMI website for more information.

How do I download the exam application?

When necessary, we will help with the exam application download.

What happens if I fail the exam?

You can retake the exam two more times within your one-year eligibility.

What happens if my eligibility expires and I have not taken the exam?

Your application is valid for one year. After this time, you will have to re-apply.

What are PDUs?

PDUs (Professional Development Units) are the measuring unit used to quantify your professional development as part of the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program. 1 PDU = 1 hour of learning/activity.
