About The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training Course

This course is the first of the Lean Six Sigma series of certifications. It teaches students the basic Lean Six Sigma principles and the most important Lean Six Sigma instruments. Yellow Belts are experienced with the processes in daily practices and are therefore often involved in leading Kaizen projects or they are team member in a Green or Black Belt projects. The available learning methods – Online Classroom & Bootcamp – provide students with the skills and knowledge to pass the associated exam.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will understand:

  • 1 The general philosophy of Process Improvement and explain why process improvement is needed.
  • 2 How process improvement programs should be deployed across the organization and explain the role and responsibilities of Leadership in its efforts to coach and inspire improvement teams.
  • 3 The way improvement projects should be executed and also explain the project management roadmaps, team formation, the project charter and a number of project management tools.
  • 4 How to achieve a solid foundation for further process improvement programs.
  • 5 How to create a continuous improvement culture at the shop floor and also review the problem solving techniques and tools.
  • 6 How the logistical flow of processes can be improved and made more stable, predictable and efficient.
