About The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training Course

This course is the second in the Lean Six Sigma series of certifications. It provides students with the right combination of specialist expertise, statistical analysis, and structured Lean Six Sigma methodology to achieve significant improvements in performance and quality. The available learning methods – Online Classroom & Bootcamp – provide students with the skills and knowledge to pass the associated exam and to work alone or as a junior project manager or as a team member in a Black Belt project.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • 1 Review the general philosophy of process improvement and why process improvement is needed.
  • 2 Review how process improvement programs should be deployed across the organization and roles and responsibilities of leadership in its efforts to coach and inspire improvement teams.
  • 3 Understand the way improvement projects should be executed.
  • 4 Review how to achieve a solid foundation for further process improvement programs which consists of a proper and organized work environment, reliable equipment and standardized work.
  • 5 Review how to create a continuous improvement culture at the shop floor and setting up and facilitate Kaizen teams.
  • 6 Review how the logistical flow of processes can be improved and made more stable, predictable and efficient.
